Hello, 
Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, 
PowerPoint) are inexplicably not working on my 
faculty office desktop computer today. 

I keep getting the following message, each time 
I've tried to open such a file (whether the origin 
of the file was a download, a UBS or my H-drive).

It was working fine last night (Thurs. 1/16); my 
computer did complete some updates when I went to 
log out for the night. 

Is there something I should try to troubleshoot 
this? Or can I schedule some tech support 
assistance first thing on Tuesday morning (1/21)? 
I'm in Bellamy 207, Social Sciences Division.
