If you click on recovery assistant, you can then 
click on erase this mac and don't need to activate 
a thing.

This is Ian from UCS. I have your old Mac here that we are trying to 
wipe and it's showing that you were not logged out of it completely 
when it was turned into us. Not a big deal but we will need you  to 
sign out of it for us. Is there a time that I could come by your office or 
you could come by UCS?
