Hi Camarie,

Based on the notes in your service ticket, it sounds like it is likely an issue with the 
laptop charge and not the laptop itself.

We are happy to give you a different charger to see if that alleviates your issue. Can you 
confirm the WOU number is W20230507?  If that is the device with the issues, it is under 
warranty until 3/2027 so we can get it repaired free of charge.

This computer is under warranty so we can get it 
repaired no matter what the issue is. We can give 
Camarie a loaner while diagnosing it or just swap 
out the charge if that ends up being the case.

Hi, 
I could not find a ticket under your name so I 
created a new one. SR# 86969. We can 
definitely test the laptop and replace the charger 
if it is needed. Seeing as you have found a 
working charger, I suspect it is in fact the 
charger you are having an issue with. If it is the 
computer itself we might be able to give you a 
loaner but we will not be able to have a new 
computer ready within the day if we do find out 
that the computer is the issue. What is the WOU # 
on the laptop you are currently using so we can 
look into this a head of time to when you arive?

Hello,

I had called the help desk on 3/27 about my laptop 
not charging and they said they'd make a ticket, 
but I never got a notification. I am still having 
the issue, but have found that using a different 
charger works - so I'm hoping it's just my charger 
that's broken? I work remotely out of state, but 
am coming into town 4/7. Is it possible to come in 
and test if it's just a charger issue? And either 
just swap out chargers, or if the issue is with my 
actual computer, is it possible to have a new 
computer ready to be picked up then?
