MacBook, preferably 13”.

Ted,

Our techs have informed me that by erasing your 
admin rights, you accidentally disconnected from 
all of our systems. 

Unfortunately, the only way for us to fix this is 
if you bring it into UCS.

It could potentially be a long fix, in which case 
we would provide you with a loaner.
We are open Mon-Fri 8:00am-5:00pm. Please bring 
your device in at your earliest convenience.

Dear UCS:

I need your help! For my venerable WOU MacBook 
#20191058[Edit Inv], I request that you restore my admin 
account “beerst”.

During a Recovery Mode reset of my data drive, my 
account was unintentionally removed. The WOU/UCS 
remote management and (only) the UCS account 
“ucsadmin” remain, as expected. (The reset was 
necessitated by very low available storage taken 
by system files, causing spurious errors. With my 
closer monitoring, I this condition won't repeat.)

I work remotely from Corvallis, and I hope this 
morning you can remote-restore my admin account 
“beerst”. (My computer is currently on the 
internet but not on the WOU VPN.) Then I can 
restore my user data unassisted.

Thank you for your help with this somewhat-urgent 
matter.
