Hi Donna,

It is correct that we don't have any GFA funds 
until the next fiscal year.  I can have a tech 
bring you a loaner computer until we can fulfill 
your replacement. Will that work for you?

HI,

I am copying Sharyne Ryals about this. I believe 
she already submitted it on my behalf and we were 
told they didn't have one. 

I was hoping I would somehow have a functioning 
replacement tomorrow. I have a personal laptop but 
it is not connected to the printer or to the 
screens in my office. I don't mind using it but I 
need to have access to the university's resources 
while working.

Hi Donna,

Michael Ellis was able to correct the error in 
portal that wasn't allowing you to submit a 
computer replacement request.

Please attempt again and let me know if you are 
successful.

Hello!I apologize for the late reply, I was not working the last day 
and a half. I just got in and started looking through everything. My 
boss is looking into why you are getting that error. For now as far 
as the current computer, we can put a NVME into it to make it go a 
little faster for the time being. This is basically a new hard drive. 
I've also just been advised that new computers are on hold until a 
couple weeks into July due to budget issues. So, I would advise 
that we can get the current setup working better for the next 
couple of months but I need to know when would be a good time, 
it's usually a 24 hour fix. If that works for you guys for now please 
let me know and back up any information to the H

Hi Donna,
I was just looking through your SR. It sounds like you want to 
upgrade your device. If you are, you can go to your portal and look 
under programs for everyone on the right side of the web page. 
There should be a tab that says "Computer Replacement". If you 
click on that it will walk you through all the steps. There is some 
information that you should know first: If the device you have was 
purchased through the General Fund the steps I just gave you will 
work perfectly. If it was purchased through your department, all 
purchase requests will have to go through your department head. 
If you get your WOU number and send it to me I can tell you which 
kind of funding it was.

Hi Mary,

Thank you!

I'm sorry, though, I am not on campus and I live 
1.75 hours away. I'll be back next week on 
Wednesday, but I believe it is 2018. When the tech 
was in my office last spring, he said I was 
eligible.

The humming just started today. I turned it off 
and then turned it back on a few minutes later and 
it continued.

Dear UCS,

I need a new computer. I know there is a link 
somewhere to put in an order, but I don't recall 
where. 

It has been having printing trouble for a long 
time and now it is making a weird whirring noise, 
and it is old.
