I removed over 50GB from her computer. She should be
able to upgrade now.

Oh, I misunderstood the picture you uploaded. It is asking you
to connect an external storage device that has more room for
the update.

It sounds like your drive is too full for the upgrade. Are you
keeping a lot of your data locally? We can run a utility on
your computer to find what's taking up so much space if you
bring your computer by or I can possibly remote it and try to
help.

Thanks,
David

Hi XuanXuan,
It seems you might have an eternal storage device connected to your computer that might be messing with the Windows
update. It might be trying to install Windows on the external device instead of your computer's main drive. You can
try disconnecting it and retrying.
If that doesn't work you can bring it UCS and we can help. We can try to perform the in place upgrade for you. It is
usually preferred to do a clean install. If you are able to move all your files over to your home drive or Google
drive that would be awesome.
Thanks,
David

Thanks for your quick response, Abigail.

I’m not sure if it was a Kace message or not, but
I didn’t manually upgrade the windows; it was a
popup asking me to download windows 11 towards the
end of the shift yesterday. So, I did it right
before I left and locked my screen.

****This is an OUTGOING email****

Hello,

Is there a Kace message saying to download windows
11? It might have popped up before this message.
You should go ahead and download Windows 11
through the message that is with the Kace pop-up.
And please read the message that it will take a
while to complete.

Let us know if you have any issues.

Thanks,

Abigail
