I put in a new doc that had an audio jack on it which got our issues 
worked out. We still couldn't get the audio jack on the laptop to 
work.

Ah, yes!

I will need PL/SQL, Chrome, Firefox, Opera (if possible), Adobe 
Acrobat, and the Microsoft Office suite.

That should cover any possible tasks I'll need to perform.

we can work on his laptop

I downloaded dell command updates and restarted it which got it to 
work, but the computers speakers no longer worked. I unplugged the 
laptop and plugged it back in which got the laptop speaker to work 
but now the headphones don't work.

Hello!

Since updating to Windows 11, I have encountered 
multiple, frequent issues with audio output.
The 3.5mm headphone jack randomly disappears. I've 
kept the RealTek drivers up to date.
System sounds are now coming out of the 
headphones, even though the speakers are selected.
What I need:
Zoom calls to go through the headphones always 
(which means the headphone jack needs to be 
recognized always, not randomly).
System sounds to go through whatever output device 
is actually selected.
Is there any way to fix these issues?
