After a year's worth of hard work students get to share with the school what they've been doing

and share with their peers and share with their professors.

So I think it's a really great opportunity for students

to ultimately be able to show what Western has to offer to them.

Today I did a performance of No Belles.

we got together with Michael Phillips

and we presented a part of his show No Belles.

I think it's really important for the students because it makes them feel like their work is valid

and I think it's important for the community as well because they get to see what we're doing at Western

and what their community has to offer them.

As a senior I was pretty nervous to do this presentation

but as we got into it, it opened up my eyes a little bit to show what we are capable of as students

and I really enjoyed working with the group that I did

and I enjoyed having my professor to help us along with the process

of actually making this presentation.

Today was great because it's just a moment of reflection

on the things that undergraduates care about through their majors.

For me that's literature.

And it's really cool to have people that appreciate the same thing that you do.

Showcase is a day I love because it's a day that I get to see students shine.

It's a day when we provide students with a platform

from which they can tell us about the amazing work, scholarship, creative endeavors that they are doing
