It's perfect for studying, socializing, or simply for relaxing between classes.

I'm Trevor, and I'd like to show you the Honors classroom and tell you about the courses you'll be taking in the Honors program.

Many of the Honors classes take place in the Honors classroom, next door to the office and lounge.

Here you'll study world literature, philosophy, music, theater, and other subjects.

In general, Honors classes are discussion-based, writing intensive, and never feature more than 25 students.

The goal is to keep class sizes small, so individualized learning can flourish.

In addition to the subjects already mentioned, you'll also take courses in geography, art, and the natural sciences.

Your coursework will culminate in your Honors thesis, which is completed during your junior and senior years.

I'm doing mine on the viability of the value-based purchasing model in healthcare.

The final area in the Honors center is the Honors computer lab.

Here students from all of the Honors cohorts can gather to collaborate and get work done.

The computer lab features PCs and Macs, as well as two laser printers exclusively for Honors student use.

Like the lounge, Honors students can gain access to the lab at all hours.

It's an excellent place to eliminate distractions and get down to work.
