Civil Rights Film Series
The sociology Department will once again offer a Civil Rights Film Series course this Winter Term. It meets Wednesday evenings from 5:30-7:50 in ITC 211 (Auditorium).
We offer this course as a contribution to Black History Month and also as a tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King and other heroes of the Civil Rights
Movement. The series also will include some films on the civil rights struggles of Native Americans. Everyone is welcome whether they are

Sweets donated by Lion's Share Coffeehouse & Bakery of Independence and Break Point Coffee Company of Salem, as well as homemade goodies from Phi Alpha Theta members. St. Baldrick's - Cancer Fundraiser
The Residential Hall Association is putting on it's 5th annual fundraiser for the childhood cancer research foundation St. Baldrick's.
RHA members and students have set fundraising goals and raised money that will go toward further developments in cancer research. In addition, some participants will be shaving their heads to stand in solidarity with children diagnosed with cancer.
Come show your support for cancer awareness and those participating!
