Close to Octopus Spring in the White Creek Drainage, the Bonehole (as we call it) contains variable red layering (as does Octopus). Owing to its proximity to this well-studied site, we have performed only limited mat temperature/pH and pigment analyses. Upstream White Creek features appear to be red layer negative.
