The WOU Wireless Network

Western Oregon University provides wireless service in all campus locations.

The WOU Wireless Network allows students, faculty and staff to easily setup and use wireless devices on campus.

Who has access?

All current registered students and active employees are automatically granted wireless access.

Connecting to the WOU Wireless Network

When connecting to the WOU Wireless Network, you will want to make sure that you are on the "wou-secure" wireless network. The system will ask for a password and that is:

Ihadajadesaleatthelake.

The "I" needs to be capital and it needs a period at the end of the line. Once you connect, open a browser, and it should prompt you to login with your Pawprint username and password. You'll need to login every 90 days.

Connect to the WOU Guest Wireless Network

When connecting to the WOU Guest Wireless Network, you will want to make sure that you are on the "wou-guest-open" wireless network. Open a browser, and follow the directions provided. Guest wifi lasts 2 days.
