Today I'm standing in the Natural Science greenhouse. It's one of the many areas in this building undergoing a remodel.

In the greenhouse we've replaced all the glass with polycarbonate.

We've updated the heating control systems as well as the watering systems

From a technology standpoint this has been a very challenging project.

We're running about sixteen miles of cabling throughout this facility.

We've added new telecom closets. We have upgraded all of the network infrastructure cabling.

We've increased the wireless access points to density in all the locations in the classrooms.

And that'll give really a lot greater capabilities for students to be able to access our wireless network.

They'll be able to bring more devices with them and have faster connections.

We're also installing new equipment in the classrooms. New document cameras, new sound systems.

We're installing laser projectors now which are fantastic in that we don't have to worry about lamps burning out.

New video conferencing equipment and also lighting controls that we're installing in a couple of our larger auditorium rooms.

One of the biggest needs of this building was the mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.

So we can now control the climate within the building from a remote location

This building is 45 years old. When we finish in September
