Today we are doing some volunteer work for MLK Day.

So my group we are trying to get rid of this graffiti.

Of, as you can see, it is taking some practice.

But we hope to make this fence a little big prettier.

So when we got out today, we were really scared

that the Oregon weather was not going to be our friend.

But you can clearly see that the sun is shinning

and we have some clear skies so we're very happy about that.

As a social science major, this type of service is really important because we really get to

work with community members and understanding what their needs are.

And it might be something as simple as helping get rid of graffiti

to make a whole property feel better and the person better.
