 When I was at first applying to colleges it was all new to me.

I grew up with my grandparents who hadn't been to school in a really long time, let alone college.

So that admissions process, financial aid it was all super new and I was kind of on my own.

But I figured it out and obviously got accepted to Western.

I came in as an education major.

Took a few classes and realized it wasn't really for me.

So at the same time I wanted to focus on kids still, that's why I was an education major in the first place.

I had also been taking some Biology classes and was really enjoying it. So I decided to switch my major over to pre-nursing and still focus on the kids.

With my focus in Pediatrics.

And now I am really enjoying my studies here at Western Oregon.
